This form has been prepared to inform the patients and their relatives about the hair transplant operation to be performed. It is a legal obligation to have it read and approved.

The data sheets describe the anticipated risks and adverse events (complications) of surgical treatments; They are used to convey information about other treatment options. However, this form should not be considered as a document that includes the risks of all treatment modalities. Depending on your own personal health or medical knowledge, your doctor may give you different or additional information.

Do not sign the form on the last page until you have carefully read all the information below and answered all your questions. After learning the benefits and possible risks of the operation to be performed, it is up to you to accept or not to accept the applications.

İŞLEM ÖNCESİ

İşlem öncesinde doktorunuza mevcut ve geçirmiş olduğunuz hastalıklar, kullanmış olduğunuz ilaçlar, geçirilmiş ameliyatlar, alkol ve sigara kullanımı, bilinen alerjileriniz hakkında detaylı olarak bilgilendirme yapmanız gerekmektedir. Genetik saç dökülme şekli ilerleyici olabilmektedir ve orijinal saçlı bölgelerde, saç nakli sonrasında da dökülme devam edebilmektedir ve bu dökülmenin zaman/şiddeti hekiminiz tarafından da öngörülememektedir. Orijinal saçlarınızdaki dökülmenin devam etmesi nedeniyle ikinci bir seansa ihtiyaç duyulabilmektedir.

Saç nakli için seçmiş olduğunuz yöntem (FUE) hakkında detaylı bilgilendirme hekiminiz tarafından ayrıca sözlü olarak işlem öncesi yapılacaktır. İşlem başarısını görmek adına daha önce ekim yapılmış hastaların operasyon öncesi ve sonrası fotoğraflarını görebilirsiniz.

İŞLEM AÇIKLAMASI

Saç ekimi operasyonu, başınızın arka kısmındaki (ense – iki kulak arası) saçlı deriden alınan greftlerin (saç köklerinin) uygun şekilde hazırlanarak gerekli görülen alana yerleştirilmesi işlemidir. Bu işlemin amacı saçların yok olduğu veya azaldığı bölgelere (sakal, kaş, bıyık ve sakal izleri dahil) olabildiğince ekim yaparak şu anki durumdan daha iyi bir görüntüye ulaşmaktır.

Hiç saçı dökülmemiş, gür saç yapısına sahip bir görünüme ulaşmak çoğu zaman olanaksızdır. Ulaşılacak sonuç cerrahi yöntemin başarısı kadar saç tellerinizin kalınlığına, şekline, rengine, saç dökülme miktarınıza ve başınızın arka kısmındaki verici bölgedeki saç yoğunluğunuza bağlıdır. Alınabilecek en iyi sonuca ulaşmak için 2 veya 3 seans operasyon gerekebilir.

Kaş ekimi; ense üzerindeki saçlardan alınan greftlerin tekli kökler şeklinde kaşların olmadığı veya seyrek olduğu bölgeye nakledilmesi işlemidir. Bu teknik, bıyık ve sakal ekimi için de aynı şekildedir. Kaş nakli sonrasında ekilen bölgede ve göz kapaklarında çeşitli derecelerde morarma-şişlik olması doğaldır ve 3 – 4 gün içinde kendiliğinden geçecektir. Ekilen kaşlar uzama eğiliminde olduğu için zaman zaman makas ile uzayan bu kılları kısaltmak gerekecektir.

Saç ekimi lokal anestezi altında yapılacaktır. Bazı durumlarda sedasyon anestezisi de ilave olarak kullanılabilir.

Lokal anesteziye bağlı alerji veya ilaç reaksiyonu nadiren de olsa görülmektedir. Üstelik rutin testlerle duyarlı kişiler önceden saptanamazlar. Bu gibi durumlarda hastaya gerekli tıbbi müdahalenin yapılabilmesi için saç ekimi operasyonu hastane ya da cerrahi tıp merkezinde yapılmalıdır. Bu istenmeyen durumlar önceden alınan tedbirler sayesinde, başarıyla tedavi edilebilirler ve hastaya zarar verecek bir durum olma olasılığı son derece azdır.

Saç ekimi operasyonu ekilecek greft miktarına ve saç açıklığına bağlı olarak 4 – 12 saat kadar sürebilir. Ortalama 6 – 8 saat arasında tamamlanmaktadır.

AFTER THE PROCEDURE

The post-operative head wrap is removed after 1 or 2 days.
Wound healing problem may occur due to wound infection and similar reasons in the donor area on the neck. However, due to the good blood supply of the scalp, the probability of such a problem is extremely low, and even if it does, it will heal easily.
The healing process of the wounds is between 4 and 10 days. Swelling in the forehead area can last from the 3rd to the 5th day. During the hair regrowth period (between the 10th and 20th weeks), some acne may occur on the skin.

In order to reduce the possibility of problems, antibiotics, painkillers and similar drugs recommended by the doctor should be used without interruption after the surgery, dressing and bandage should be applied regularly.

When there is any problem with the procedure, the doctor who performed the procedure should be consulted first, as he is the person who will best evaluate the source and solution of the problem.
The transplanted hair enters the shedding process from the 3rd week and this process can continue until the 8th week. This is completely expected and natural. Even in rare cases, there may be a temporary loss of hair in the immediate vicinity of the transplanted area. This is a completely reversible spill.

The transplanted hair starts to grow after about 3 months, it may take up to 12 months for all of them to grow, including the crown area. At the end of the sixth month, 70-80% results are obtained. The final result of sowing is obtained in a period of up to 18-24 months.
Depending on the number of grafts taken in the nape area where the hair follicles are taken, there is a possibility of some scarring depending on the skin structure of the person.
Some of the transplanted hair may not hold. The retention rate of the hair transplanted in our clinic is 90%. A retention rate of over 90% in world standards is defined as very successful.

A personal care period is required for the first ten days after hair transplantation and it is recommended to spend this period in a clean environment. During this period, crusting may occur in the back of the head where the hair follicle is taken and in the transplanted area, and edema-swelling of varying degrees may occur on your face and eyes during this period.

Hair loss is a lifelong process. For this reason, it may be recommended to use various treatments immediately after the operation to support the application and delay hair loss. If the loss of your existing hair continues and if a thicker hair is desired, tightening operations may be required.
